Sally Camp formed The Fiduciary’s Friend, LLC in 1999 after seventeen years of honing her skills working for law firm tax, estates and trusts departments as an estate administrator and a tax and probate paralegal. She is a cum laude graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University.

Sally Camp is a cum laude graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University.  Sally formed The Fiduciary’s Friend, LLC in 1999 after seventeen years of honing her skills working for law firm tax departments as an estate administrator and fiduciary accountant.  The Fiduciary’s Friend provides accounting services to law firms and individuals needing support for estate administrations, trust administrations, non-profit and charitable organization management, guardianship proceedings and estate planning. The Fiduciary’s Friend also provides tax preparation and accounting services to individuals, estates, trusts, small businesses, non-profit and charitable organizations, serving clients located in Maryland, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Sally was published in the U.S. Congress. House. Committee on Ways and Means. Written Proposals on Tax Simplification: 1990. 101st Cong., 2d sess., 1990. Committee Print, 101-27.  Based on her tax simplification proposal, the manner in which interest and dividend income reported on the IRS Form 1041 was revised.

In 1995 Sally assisted in the research of a tax beneficial retirement account being sponsored by U.S. Senator William Roth of Delaware.  The Roth IRA was established by the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 (Public Law 105-34).

In 2001 Sally was elected to the board of directors of ORSA Corporation, located in Aberdeen, Maryland.  ORSA Corporation uses state-of-the art Operations Research and Systems Analysis methodology to help businesses, non-profit and government organizations solve problems.  Sally served a five year term as treasurer of ORSA Corporation.

In 2014 Sally was elected Judge of the Orphans’ Court for Cecil County, Maryland. The Maryland Orphans’ Court is the state’s probate court. It also has jurisdiction over guardianships of minors.

Sally is currently active and serving with the following non-profit and charitable organizations:

Treasurer, Historical Society of Kent County;

Treasurer, Elk River Yacht Club;

Treasurer, Sassafras River Business Council; and,

Altar Guild Chair, St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
